How to create photo albums and upload photos?

Now it's time to add some photos to your photo albums. In this section, we will guide you how to create an album and upload photos from your web browser. Some other easy ways to uploading photos are listed in the end of this section.

Creating an album:

• To create an album, click Add Album in the left side menu.
• Just enter a name for the album. You can also enter other things, but a name is all that is needed. Then you can hit Save

Adding photos:

• Click on Add Items in the left side menu.
• Depending on the enabled plugins, you have now one or more methods to add photos to your Gallery.
• You certainly want to try Gallery Remote, the Upload Applet and Publish XP. Those methods make adding a lot of items just with a few clicks quick and easy.

Adding photos from your web browser:

• Navigate to the album you wish to add items to and click the “add items” link on the sidebar.
• Click the “From Web Browser” tab if you are not already on that tab.
• You are now presented with one or more boxes for item uploads. Click the “Browse” button to open a dialog box that enables you to select a local file and insert its path into the form. Alternatively you can type in the local path directly into the form.
• If you want, you can enter a caption for the item added in Step 3.
• Click the “Add Items” button on the bottom of the page to upload the items selected.
• Note: If you need more than the default five, click the “more” link on the bottom of the page to extend the number.
